affect his mobility. With the aid of a walker, Fernando is able to move
about at will. He also suffers from mild epilepsy. He is a loving child
that gets along well with his caregivers. While he enjoys everyone at the

Hello, I'm Fernando, I am 6 years old. I'm very happy because I recently
celebrated my birthday, and unlike other years, I enjoyed a good piece of
cake. When I was younger I ate through a feeding tube, but thanks to the
people who care for me, I'm better.
I live at Casa Hogar Unacari and at Unacari I perform many activities that
I have learned and enjoy. I like music and dancing and also like go out
and play with my friends. I attend a little school called CAME No. 13,
where my teachers teach me a lot and are very good to me. I like to sing
the songs that I learn in school and play with my classmates.
I also enjoy going for walks, going to the park or to the pool. Also, I
recently went to the aquarium and visited with the dolphins. It would be
great if I could stay with the dolphins!
I'm very happy because I'm surrounded by people who love me very much and
share their love with me, but I'd feel better if I had a family just for
me.
