In addition to the individual State and U.S. Government eligibility requirements for prospective adoptive parent(s), Mexico has the following adoption eligibility requirements. If you feel you are not eligible to adopt from Mexico or you are unsure, we may be able to work with you. Please contact us for a free case-by-case consultation regarding your Mexico adoption.
Please refer to our Children Available for Mexico Adoption page for details on children currently available.
- Citizenship: One adoptive parent must be a U.S. citizen.
- Age: The younger parent must be 25-50 years of age. Prospective adoptive parents over 50 may be considered for an older child or a child with special needs.
