Help Push Legislation to Improve Haiti Adoption!

We got word from our partners in Haiti, For His Glory Outreach, that three U.S. Senators have proposed legislation to aid Haitian orphans who are still in limbo after the devastating earthquake in January.  Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Jim Inhofe (R-OK), and Mary Landrieu (D-LA) have paved the way, and we ask that you contact your Senator and House Representative and encourage them to support this new legislation.

According to For His Glory, "Without the rights of citizenship, these children could face unknown challenges and even the risk of being forced to return to Haiti if something were to happen to their adoptive families."

This bill is referred to as:
H.R.5283 in the House
S.3411 in the Senate

You can find a sample letter on the For His Glory Outreach website. You can use this letter to assist you in writing your Senators and Representatives.
