Family Background: Purnima Badal is an inhabitant of Hikila Village Development Committee, Ward No-05, of Darchula District. Her father, Mr. Jay Singh Dobal, is indebted for a small piece of land in the village. Right now, he works in a hospital. Her mother does not work. They have been living in a very small rented house.
Home Conditions: Purnima’s family condition is poor. She has one brother and parents, making four family members who live in a rented room. Due to the poor financial conditions, it has been very difficult for the family to support their children in education.
