About Children of All Nations
Children of All Nations (CAN), operated by Great Wall China Adoption, is a division of America’s leading international adoption agency. CAN is dedicated to improving the lives of children, and we are reaching out to nations around the world to place children and give humanitarian aid on a global scale with adoption programs in countries around the globe.
Drawing on over 15 years of experience in placing children, advocating for improved legislation and international relations, and initiating charity programs focused on child welfare, CAN is opening its doors and hearts to a new worldwide challenge.
As a division of Great Wall China Adoption, CAN is built on the solid foundation of a fully Hague accredited, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with the highest service standards. Great Wall has had the great honor of being a leader in China adoption, benefiting more than 8,000 Chinese children as a reputable international adoption agency and major advocate for children. CAN is happy to carry the knowledge and experience in international adoption and charity work we have gained from our parent organization as we move forward. This wealth of experience helps us better serve our families who wish to adopt from Africa, North and South America, Asia, and Eastern Europe.
Our Mission
CAN’s mission is to provide exceptional client care throughout the adoption process and offer rewarding ways for people to get involved with the charity work we undertake. To fulfill our mission, we have spent the last few years building and strengthening our relationships with adoption specialists, government officials, orphanage directors and caretakers, members of the clergy and other country leaders in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and South America. We have gained a thorough understanding of not only the adoption processes, but of the local conditions that impact children in need. This understanding ensures that we effectively and reliably manage international adoption for our clients and gives us insight as to how we can aid these countries through specific charity initiatives.
Adoption Programs
Currently we have intercountry adoption programs in place for Bulgaria, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, Latvia, Nepal, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Rwanda, Uganda and Ukraine, in addition to our longstanding China program.
Charity Missions
We recognize that completing families through adoption is just one of the many ways we can help improve the lives of children around the world. With this in mind, CAN is taking an active role in making lasting improvements in the countries in which we work. We encourage our clients to discover the gratifying experience of helping to improve a country in a different part of the world. Our multiple donation and child sponsorship programs provide families, professionals, and even children, opportunities to give medical care, improve education, build infrastructure, or simply share kind thoughts to brighten someone’s day.
Our Vision for the Future
CAN believes that every child around the world deserves a permanent home that offers the best possible conditions for emotional and physical development. While we expand to better serve children, we can better serve the families who look to us for a broader range of options. Each country’s government dictates adoption policies and eligibility standards, so naturally these standards vary. By working with more countries, CAN now offers broader, more inclusive acceptance criteria that allow families of all types to adopt.
